We went for our Aidil Fitri rounds with Eliza's parents this morning (Neng is still in Kajang and Elina went back to Baling yesterday evening). We went to Ijam's in-laws house at Matang; Pak Teh went with us as well. BTW I did went to check whether the famous mee udang is open tomorrow but most of them were closed for one week (only Mak Jah will be open for tomorrow but for their open house). Ijam's in-laws prepared laksa for us and Arief was sleeping when we arrived there (he is still tired from yesterday adventure). Arief woke up as we were about to go to Mack's mom house at Matang. We had fresh fried karipap while waiting for Mack to arrive from Kamunting; he came with his wife siblings and it was a full house. From there we went for a brief visit Tok Cik at Matang (beside Elina's house) before driving to Simpang to visit Abah's cousin. We had mee jawa; and we were obviously full from all the foods. We went back to Pokok Assam for some needed rest; Arief didn't sleep at all as he continue playing all over the house. We went to Mak Cho's house in the late evening where they served mee rebus and nasi putih. Arief as usual slept in the car during the short journey and woke up upon arriving. He didn't eat at all; just went to watch TV in the room and watched his cousins jumping from the double decker bed. We went to KFC Kamunting to buy Bucket for dinner; faster as compared to the one in town :-)
This is the last day of Ramadhan and we will be having a huge gathering at my mom's house. My sister is driving back today from Shah Alam and I was informed by my cousin; Fadzli that the highway is jam. We went to buy tudung for Eliza at the bus stand and we ended up buying baju melayu for Arief and myself; brown in colour. After shopping Eliza & Arief went to Sri Kota to prepare ketupat for Aidil Fitri. I went with my mom and Abg Ngah family to Changkat Jering to buy meals for berbuka. It was raining but we still went and bought murtabak, pecal and various kuih muih. My sister arrived at around 6.30pm after six hours journey. We had a blast at the family berbuka session and Arief enjoys playing continuously with Ilyas and Irfan. Btw Abang Long and family arrived at 8,30pm++; also caught is a mild jam from Shah Alam :-)
We had McD for our sahur. I drove to McD seksyen 3 Shah Alam at 3.30am and bought Big & tasty Value Meal and Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. It was a change from our usual menu but the fries was a big disappointment. As Little Caliphs is closed for the Raya Holiday, I was at home with Arief while Eliza went to the office. We plan to start our journey at 3pm. Eliza called saying that she can go home by noon. As I had already packed everything in the car, we reached Menara TM by 1pm. Eliza bought drinks; just in case if we gonna be stuck in a jam and reaching Taiping after berbuka. Surprisingly the journey was smooth and we reached Taiping at 4.30pm (3 hours drive). We went for berbuka at Sri Kota; ayam masak merah is the main dish :-)
We arrived home early today and we plan to berbuka at Pak Long Kopitiam Shah Alam Mall. We bought cucur udang at Pasar Ramadhan for our light berbuka before heading to Shah Alam Mall. We ordered kuehteow goreng, claypot rice and chinese tea. As we were there at around 8pm, it was easy for us to find our table and the service is fast too. BTW it was raining as well. We went back home at 9pm and began packing to drive back to Taiping tomorrow :-)
We were stucked in a massive jam at NPE; it started after the second toll and we finally bypass the traffic jam after more than an hour there. This is mainly due to the heavy rain and cars cutting queue at the junction after Sunway Piramid. We had to berbuka inside our car; lucky I brought back Ferrero Rocher and we reached Little Caliphs by 7.20pm. We had earlier plan to berbuka in Subang Parade but we ended up buying nasi kandar Restoran Hakim Seksyen 7 :-)
Today is the first time Eliza went to the Pasar Ramadhan; initially we went to the one at Seksyen 3 but limited choices. Luckilly we remember that Pasar Malam Seksyen 6 is on Tuesday and we immediately went there. It was already buzzing with people. We bought nasi lemak ayam for Arief, Chicken Kebab, Popiah basah, apam balik, kuih sagu and cucur keria. Not forgetting air kedondong boi and lai chee kang. Eliza is going to cook spaghetti for berbuka today. Almost all that we bought was delicious; and the spaghetti was excellent. We even had it for our sahur :-)
Eliza prepared steamboat @ tomyam for berbuka today; with lots of seafood. We did stop by at the Pasar Ramadhan nearby our house and bought tauhu sumbat, kuih kacang, cucur badak and not forgetting bandung soda & mangga blended. While waiting for Eliza to cook, I play football with Arief in our living room with his new Ben10 ball. Arief was sweating profusely after about 20 minutes of kicking the ball all over our living room. The steamboat was excellent; the tomyam spicy was just nice and Arief likes it too :-)
We nearly miss our Sahur as I left my hp @ alarm at the TV Hall. It was lucky that Arief asked for his milk at 5am; we rushed to re-heat the nasi bukhara and we managed to have our sahur just in time. BTW Arief didn't sleep after that and he just continue watching his DVD and playing with his Lego. We plan to go to Shah Alam Mall early as Eliza would like to buy her raya shoes but Arief fall asleep at around 10.30am. He woke up at around 12.30pm and immediatealy wanted to go out. We went to Shah Alam as promised and Eliza managed to find her shoes. And Arief also manage to buy jeans, Levis & Calvin Klien. We went to KFC to buy Arief's favourite chicken pedas @ drumstick and he ate in the shopping trolley while we buy ingredients for steamboat. Eliza's parents and siblings plan to berbuka at our house as Eliza's parent is driving from Teluk Intan after visiting Ijam yesterday. But Elina declined the invitation. We bought Nasi Ayam Pak Mal Seksyen 11 while Neng brought bubur lambuk and varieties of refreshments; hot soya, soya cincau and longan. And I also bought air tembikai susu and jambu assam boi. We really enjoy having Nasi Ayam Pak Mal for berbuka. We didn't prepared steamboat for today but will prepared it for tomorrow berbuka :-)
This is our last weekend in Shah Alam before driving back to Taiping for Aidil Fitri. We went to Subang Parade to buy shoes for Arief as he has outworn his Cars Crocs and his Crocs Axle is too big for him at the moment. We went to Toy'R'Us first as we wanted to buy Arief his plastic scissors and we ended up buying Lego Duplo, set of mini tennis with net, Ben 10 ball, Ultraman Mebius and plastic scissors. While I went down to send the toys to our cars, Arief went into the arcade with Eliza. As usual, it took us awhile to coerce him out of the arcade. Eliza bought Ben 10 cupcakes for Arief; we bought 2 initially but Arief wants 3; right now he is always asking to buy everything in 3 sets; "Nak beli banyak" is his favourite word and showing three fingers. We also managed to buy jeans for Arief at Reject Shop and we finally find his shoes at Al-Ikhsan (Blue Nike). It was quite jam going out from Subang Parade. We arrived home by 3.30pm and we went out again by 5pm. We are going to my sister house for berbuka but I need to drive to Restoran Syed Kelana Jaya to buy Nasi Ayam Bukhara. Eventhough Shah Alam have Restoran Syed but we do prefer the one in Kelana Jaya. My sister prepared fried bananas at home. Arief was again enjoying playing with both of his cousins; from playing balls and making a mess of the toy basket. BTW Arief like to play with his belly button when he drinks his milk and Irfan upon noticing it imitates; it was so cute. We were very full from Nasi Bukhara and we even managed to bring one set home for Sahur :-)
Today we went to Pak Li Seksyen 7 to buy our meals for berbuka; we opted for the ramadhan combo (mee sup with strawberry drink and cakes), Hainanese Chicken Chop and Golden Fried Rice. We also ordered the 0.50 cents iced white coffee (coupon from their advertisement). BTW while waiting for our meals to be ready, we bought Crocs. A seller open up their stall at the parking lot; selling for RM35 (to be used for school as Arief don't like his Ben 10 slippers). We really like the Mee Sup and Hainanese Chicken Chop but Golden Fried Rice was a bit dissapoiting. We needed to add cili padi in soy sauce for extra umphhh :-)
At first we decided to buy our berbuka meals at Pak Li Seksyen 7 but Eliza changed her mind after picking up Arief at Little Caliphs; we went for nasi kandar instead as they week cooking curry at Little Caliphs. We went to Restoran Hakim Seksyen 7 and I bought their crunchy chickens, fish curry, fried pedal, sayur kobis with rice. I went with Arief to pasar ramadhan at Seksyen 7 where we bought cucur udang. Arief was looking at the seller cutting the cucur udang so seriusly that the seller gave Arief cucur pisang; of which Arief immediately gave it to me. We went to buy Chocolate Latte and Vanilla Corn; and Arief stand infront of the stall showing his Ultraman moves to all the cars that pass-by. It was indeed very cute. This time the nasi kandar is delicious and we even manage to save some for sahur :-)
We bought Dominos for our berbuka today. At first I wanted to booked online but it seems that I couldn't get an offer for the adds-on; so we went straight to the restaurant at Seksyen 9 Shah Alam. I ordered Combo Meal 1 with Breadstix and Aloha chicken; with extra chicken and cheese. And I also ordered chicken lasagna and BBQ chicken wings. Arief went to the party shop next door and bought Ben 10 stationeries. And he went again with me and bought Ben10 stickers. We really enjoy having dominos for berbuka; and we left the lasagna for sahur :-)
For our berbuka today, we went to Vichuda for take-away. I ordered sup ayam, tomyam daging, kerabu mangga, telur bistik and sotong masak pedas. While waiting for our order, we went to the nearby DVD shop where we bought 8 DVD's for RM35 (Arief bought 2 Tom & Jerry). We really like to eat at Vichuda especially their kerabu mangga. We finished eating everything during berbuka; just left sup ayam for our sahur :-)
I was on leave today; staying at home with Arief as his Little Caliphs is closed due to public holiday. We spend the whole morning watching DVD's and Ultraman clips at Youtube; until Arief fall asleep at around 1pm. My mom prepare our berbuka for today as my sister is coming back from Taiping. We drove to my sister house after Asar and upon reaching her house I realize that I left the SmartTag at the front door. So we drove back home. I was supposed to fetch Eliza at Kelana Jaya LRT but instead she went back with here friends who stays nearby my sister house. So again we drove back to my sister house and ended up berbuka there. Arief likes to play with Ilyas as both of them are the same age; but Irfan who is 1++ also join in the fun and he was running everywhere with them. BTW my mom prepared sambal tumis sotong, udang masak pedas (which Arief ate a lot), ikan cencaru and kari ikan. It was delicious. My sister also prepared popiah goreng :-)
We went to Banting for our berbuka today. We bought some cucur udang and cucur badak at the nearby pasar Ramadhan and we arrived in Banting by 6.30pm. The main dish is kari kepala ikan and lala masak halia. BTW the cucur udang was quite delicious. Arief was enjoying his cousins company and he plays all over the house; falling in the process and cried as well. I went for terawih at the nearby mosque with Abah and Yeop and we drove back home by 9.30pm; reaching home by 10.30pm :-)
We will be going to Mazlan & Hani house in Puncak Perdana for berbuka. We are sponsoring the main course; nasi arab Seksyen 7 (chicken & lamb kabshah). We arrived there by 6.30pm and everyone was already there. I really like the spaciousness of their house especially the pool table at their living room. They had started playing pool when I arrived. We berbuka with nasi arab and chilli crab prepared by the Mazlan & Hani. After berbuka, the kids went to play at their lawn where I play football with Arief. Btw Arief can really kick the ball. I think we played for about half an hour before we came it for some dessert. Eliza continue chatting with her friends at the dinner table while I went upstairs where the kids continue to play Nintendo Wii. And I play pool until 10.30pm with the guys. It was an enjoyable berbuka for all us and Arief immediately fall asleep inside the car :-)
Eliza's parents, Yeop, Haziq and Anis will be coming for berbuka at our house as Elina will be in Hartamas for her office berbuka. We just bought kuih and air jambu assam boi nearby our house (Yeop also bought air jambu assam boi too). I went with Arief to give our neighbours maruku that we bought from Ijam's mother-in-law. It was so cute watching Arief give out the maruku and then salam with all the neighbours. The main menu for berbuka is daging masak merah which I really like. After berbuka I ate my cold medicine and I fall asleep until midnight :-)
