We ride on the Melbourne famous tourist tram @ City Circle at Flinders Street. Initial plan was to do a complete circle but the time taken was a bit too long and we were quite hungry. So we decided to exit at Elizabeth Street. Along the route we saw Melbourne Aquarium, Docklands Park, Victoria Harbour, Waterfront City, Etihad Stadium, Harbour Town and Digital Harbour. Btw the tram can be driven forward and backward; we found out upon exiting Docklands Drive. We walked to Melbourne Central for our lunch and we found Es Teter 77 at Swanston Street; an Indonesian restaurant. We ordered Nasi Goreng Biasa with Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin with Es-Teler, Ice Lemon Tea and Soya Yeo's; delicious and the bill is AUD27.30. Suprisingly Shun had his lunch there too and sms me recommending this venue but the sms didn't went through. After our lunch, we walk within Melbourne Central. As the time is already 4.15pm, we walked to Hertz at Franklin Street for our rented car @ Camry Hybdrid. We waited for Shun to arrive and we drive to Docklands for our dinner at Mecca Bah with Shun & Di families; and Damian as well @ Shun's friend. It was a nice turkish dinner with delicious lamb, salmon and squids. Even the latte is nice. And the view is astonishing especially when we saw birds flying all over Etihad Stadium as the birds reflects the stadium lights as if it comes from the birds; something like a firefly :-)
yup, the sight of those birds flying and reflecting the stadium lights was awesome and surreal :)
