Australia Trip 2011 Part 9...

We went to Phillip Island Tourist Information Center for the latest information on Penguin Parade; today schedule is at 6.30pm and I also bought fridge magnets and little koalas plush figure. We stopped by Panny's Chocolate Factory; tested the free sample as well as bought chocolates and fridge magnets. We then make a brief pit-stop at Phillip Island Racing Circuit. At first I wanted to just take a photo from the outside but Eliza pointed out that we can drive to the information center inside. It's good that we did because I bought one nice t-shirt and took my pictures at the winning podium with Arief. We then arrived at Penguin Parade by 5.30pm and immediately went to buy our tickets. We were offered Penguin Plus Tickets at a discounts; with free hot beverages and Arief is free. We did our shopping there; buying t-shirts for my nephew and nieces and Arief bought mechanical shark; just like the one Aiman bought when we went to Sydney in 1995. It was quite chilly when we sat down to wait for the penguin and they arrive at around 6.21pm. It was very exciting to watch them came up to the shore in groups. Arief was really happy to watch the penguin and he was angry at the many seagulls there for dangering the penguins. We make the right decision to opt for Penguin Plus; because as we walked by the general viewing section; it was so cold. We then buy our dinner @ Vegetable Fried Rice with Chilli Fish at a nearby restaurant and ate at our lodging common lounge located at the second floor :-)

Arief's favourite memory of the penguin parade was when one of the penguins selamba je berak whilst walking back to its nest and maybe also due to the noisy crowd buat the penguin terkejut and terberak.. hahahaha :) priceless!
