TMNet Acceptance & Medical Check-Up...

I had planned to go to Kumpulan Medic to do the Medical Check-Up but I noticed the "Medijaring Sign" on Klinik Zarif as I was walking pass after breakfast with Eliza at TM. I enquired about the medical check-up and it can be done there. I passed them the authorization letter from TMNet and I had to go to Pantai Medical Centre nearby to do the X-Ray. It took about 45 minutes for me to receive the X-Ray film and I finished my medical exam by 10.30am. I went to Cyberjaya via the Sg Besi Highway and arrived there by 11.30am (traffic jam at UPM Toll). I manage to meet up with Norazah and we had an interesting discussion on my post. I found out that I will received a notebook, underground parking and next year Bonuses, if there is any. She emailed my JOTR; quite extensive and I have 3 subordinates (2 Assistant Managers and 1 clerk). I can't wait to start my career in TMNet next month :-)

TMNet Offer Letter...

I arrived at TMNet at around 9.30am and the inside parking is already full. I parked outside and hope that I am entitled to an undergound parking. I immediately went up to the HR Dept (Level 3). The HR (Aznah) explain to me about the offer letter, medical check-up and the documents I need to furnish. They request for two photos to be used for my security card. As I don't have at the moment, I told them that I'll come next week Monday to submit the offer letter acceptance and photos :-)

Call from TMNet...

While I was driving home after picking up Arief and Eliza at Kelana Jaya, my HP rang and the number is from Cyberjaya (we were just talking about TMNet and wondering when will they decide). And true enough, Norazah from HR call to inform that I got the job and if possible they request for me to start tomorrow. I told them I can't join tomorrow as I still have meetings and presentation to attend this week. We agreed that 3rd May will be my first day in TMNet. It was a great news for us. And we are on our way to my sis house as my mom is here for the maid medical check-up; we celebrate over a bucket of KFC :-)

TMNet Interview...

The day finally came, my interview with TMNet. I had filled all the necessary forms beforehand so I just had to write an essay on my qualities and contributions to TMNet. While I was waiting, I noticed two more candidates came in (competitors). My interview started at 2.30pm and it consists of 3 panels. It started with the standard and normal interview questions. Then the panels ask me about the job scopes and my knowledge on the subject matter. Alhamdullilah I manage to answer all questions. Well, the result will be out in the next two weeks. I hope for the best :-)

Email from TMNet...

I received an email from TMNet today with the title; "Interview for the post of Business Development Manager". The interview is scheduled next week 4th April Wednesday at 2pm. Eliza told me about the opening early this month; it was sent to all TM staffs. It has been awhile since I went for an interview but I'm confident :-)

Putra LRT...

It has been awhile since I last rode in the Putra LRT. When I was working with Hong Leong, I used to commute from Shah Alam using the KTMB Commuter Train, transit at KL Sentral and use PUTRA LRT until KLCC. It was actually fun because I don't have to face the early morning traffic jam; just the human jam at KL Sentral before boarding the LRT. I chose to use LRT yesterday was because I didn't want to be stuck in the traffic jam and wouldn't want to pay the expensive parking in KLCC (as I am not sure how long is my discussion). Arrive at KLCC just in-time without any hiccups:-)

Interview in UiTM Shah Alam...

I arrange an interview session in UiTM Shah Alam last Thursday as we are in need of more manpower. We had earlier contacted UiTM Career and Employer Relation Department (CERD) and request their kind assistance for the interview. We came ridiculously early (8.55am) as we thought it was scheduled to start at 9am but it was at 10am. We were given a nice room with good air-cond, ample chairs and table. I am quite impressed with UiTM CERD. The effort that they took in order to make us feel comfortable interviewing their students was excellent.

It was about 30 students that came for the interview (the final number is 26 as most of them went back as our interview did drag a bit and it was our fault of not informing them of the timeline). Some are well-prepared, some are well-dressed with blazers and suits, some are confident but majority of them are scared. Can't blame them though as I was with my two partners and we look like American Idol judges (I'm wearing pink just like Randy). Ended up we made our decisions on the final 10 and will call them up for a second interview (just like American Idol).

I'm interested in two candidates for the post of "Corporate Marketing & Research Executive". Both ladies with excellent communication skills. But one of them is a bit arrogant in the way she speaks. Can't make up my mind yet to whom should I choose. Wouldn't it be best if I can have SMS voting for this :-)

Plaza Damas, my new office... Hopefully

I was with my senior partner in Plaza Damas yesterday. Evaluating potential office space for my IT firm as our current office can't no longer cope with the increase of manpower. The location is excellent. Perfect for our new image. We are currently in the midst re-positioning the firm with new location, new logo, new tagline, new staff, new strategy, new vision, new target and hopefully new notebook as my current one survive on electricity only. The office has a good view with ample parking space. Even have a fountain nearby my office building with ponds and escalator to the shopping complexes. Withing a new 4 storey shopping complexes, the first for Hartamas. If I'm stress out, I can just go down to the shopping complexes and unwind. A lot of good and expensive restaurants (I had prata @ roti canai at RM0.90 per piece). Elegant retail shop. Masjid Duta is just nearby, so I can eat Duta Briani every Friday. We plan to move in by May and I really looking forward to it. And the best part Starbucks is just below my soon-to-be office :-).
